Chia Seeds – A Nutrient-Dense Superfood
Chia seeds are a high-protein, high-fiber, and omega-3-rich (ALA fatty acid) superfood. They are a great source of calcium, essential vitamins, and minerals, making them a versatile addition to a balanced diet. With approximately 30g of fiber per 100g, they naturally support a feeling of fullness.
Naturally gluten-free, chia seeds can be easily incorporated into smoothies, baking, or various recipes for a wholesome and nutritious boost.
Consume no more than 2 tablespoons (28g, 137 Cal) per day. Soak chia seeds in water, juice, or milk before consuming, or use them in various baked goods. The seeds will expand 10-12 times their original size when soaked.
Avoid eating dry chia seeds without soaking, as they may cause digestive discomfort.
Store in a cool, dry place.
